This writers desk was created as a diploma project at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and, in 2012, received the prestigious iF Concept Design Award, which kickstarted Inesa Malafej’s career and, together with her partner Arūnas Sukarevičius, led to the establishment of their studio, etc.etc.
Soon after, mass production followed by the Lithuanian manufacturer Emko, along with another honor—the Red Dot Award in 2014.
Since then, the My Writing Desk has become a beloved work companion for many people around the world.

Studio etc.etc.

Inesa Malafej and Arūnas Sukarevičius, partners in life and co-founders of the design studio etc.etc., studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and the Royal Danish Academy. Now based in Panevėžys, Lithuania, they balance their design work with raising their three children.
The story of My Writing Desk began as Inesa’s diploma project and quickly gained international attention. Initially considering self-production, they chose instead to collaborate with the emerging Lithuanian furniture company Emko, which continues to handle its production and distribution.
Since then, etc.etc. has created several acclaimed designs for European brands, earning prestigious awards like the iF and Red Dot.
